Children and guardians
AshQuiz is used in classrooms and at home. This page explains how we treat younger users and what parents or guardians can see.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Minimum age
AshQuiz is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to the contact details on our Contact page and we will delete it.
2. Young people
If you are under the age at which you can make a binding agreement where you live, ask a parent or guardian before you sign up. Please do not share your full name, address, school, phone number or photo publicly, and use Privacy settings to control your profile.
3. Parent and guardian reports
A learner can invite a parent or guardian by email. The guardian must confirm by email before they receive anything. They then get a weekly summary of the learner's activity and results. The learner or the guardian can stop this at any time.
4. Schools and organisations
A teacher or school can invite people with a list of email addresses. Everyone gets the same invitation and nobody is told who has already signed up. The school or teacher is responsible for having the right to invite students and to use the results.
5. No ads, no selling
We do not show advertising and do not sell personal data of anyone, including young people. To ask about or delete a young person's data, a parent or guardian can write to the contact details on our Contact page.
